Melissa Kirkpatrick, LCSW

Hello! Thank you for considering me as your therapist. I understand that the decision to seek therapy and choose a provider can be a mix of emotions- exciting, overwhelming and sometimes even a little scary! My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings and walk away with practical tools that you can implement immediately in your life. Together, we can work towards achieving your goals, enhancing your well-being and learning to thrive. I look forward to partnering with you on this journey toward growth and healing.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience. I have worked in both the private and public mental health sectors and have dedicated the last 18 years to supporting children and young adults (ages 3-21) in the school setting. My innovative approach to therapy combines my years of experience as a clinical social worker, school professional and parent of two teen boys to create a tailored approach that best fits your needs. Through my work, I strive to foster environments where individuals feel safe, understood, and capable of achieving their goals.

I specialize in working with ages 10 into adulthood to support a variety of needs including anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, LGTBQ+ and grief and loss. My certifications and trainings include but are not limited to: LGBTQ+ Behavioral Health Provider, Collaborative Problem Solving, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in Schools, Social Thinking and Executive Functioning Skills.
